The context
La Sarraz castle is a Vaud heritage venue with an events vocation. A venue with character is chosen as much for its atmosphere as for its capacities. Yet both come across poorly in a brochure: an organiser wants to feel the scale of the rooms, understand the distances, project themselves into their event.
We turned it into a complete immersive experience. The goal: to lay down a first concrete proof for the events and MICE sector, and to show what a 3D tour really changes for a venue selling its spaces.
The approach
Aerial and ground captures combined, in multi-camera and LiDAR, to cover both the interior volumes and the shell of the castle and its surroundings. The experience gives access to the exterior, an aerial view and the main interior rooms: the Mandrot room, the Débridée room, the Cellar, the Knights' room and the Kitchen.
The stance: personalisation all the way. The experience respects the venue's visual identity and integrates its own documents. It is not a generic viewer, it is the castle's tool.
The timeline
Captured in spring 2026, the whole thing was produced in a few weeks: on-site capture, processing of the models, integration of the content and personalisation. The result is a shareable sales asset, available through a simple link, that makes 3D obvious to a non-technical decision-maker in under two minutes.

One tool, three moments
Before signing
The organiser visualises their seminar before committing. They check the capacities, the atmosphere, the possible configurations, the distances between the rooms. They decide faster, with fewer doubts, without a prior visit.
During the sale
The venue's sales rep gives a tour without moving the buyer. They qualify more enquiries in parallel, shorten their sales cycle and free up time spent on scouting visits.
After signing
The same tool serves the preparation. The organiser works on their floor plan, their flows and their technical layout without returning to site.
What it demonstrates
The same approach applies to any event venue: hotels with modular rooms, castles and unusual venues, seminar spaces. La Sarraz castle serves as an example. The promise, though, is about your venue: sell it without moving anyone, and let your clients visit, measure and project themselves in from their desk.
Your venue would sell better in 3D.
